SOLD

I bought this recently here on the exchange. Seller said it was unused but I did not take into account that he was the second owner. Anyway, got the knife last night and it looks like it has been used. It was dirty and the blade is uncentered (see pics). I cleaned it up but dont know how to center the blade. I also noticed that the clip wiggles a little. I dont think it will cause any problems, but if you are picky it will bother you.

The knife was modified. Here is the sellers description:
Per the original thread, this knife has been modded by Scott Hartman, a knifemaker here on bladeforums. The rear guard was removed, and the cut out to release the lockbar chamferred. Comes with the wooden box and papers.

Anyway, I do not like the knife. I have realized I do not like metal handled blades and it is kind of heavy for my use. Lock up is solid, the blade is shaving sharp, and the mod was done pretty well IMO (assuming it did not cause the blade to be uncentered). The knife still has a lot of life left and would make a great hard user. Comes with the box and warranty paper (which is useless at this point but whatever :D )

Asking $135 $115 NOW $100 shipped Payment via paypal. post here or send pm if interested.

I might be interested in a partial trade for the following items:
No trades for now

PS: I think the blade centering problem could have something to do with the pivot pin. It looks like it was sanded or dremeled or something on one side, so maybe that is messing up the centering.
The blade does not scrape against the side when opening or closing, but if you take it apart and reassemble, it might. I had to reassemble it a few times to get the blade not to scrape the side. :(

That knife was in my EDC rotation for at least 5 years and was sold as such. It was never taken apart in my possession, and the blade has been angled in the closed position like that since I bought it new.

That is what I suspected, thanks for posting.

As mentioned, the knife still has a lot of life left in it and would make a great edc knife. Open to offers...
