I was very lucky to score this VERY RARE Mick Strider custom Nightmare Grind Spearpoint recurve this past weekend at BLADE. This was a huge conversation piece wherever i went at the show,no one has seen a monster one like this before.

5.5" closed
a tiny bit under 10" open
The blade is 5" long with a cutting area of 3.5"
Steel is S30V

The handle is textured grip carbon fiber and the back side is anodized gold Ti with texture grip as well. The blade and grinds are amazing,pics do not do it justice. I have to sell it due to other purchases. Price is $SPF$.. buyer pays PP fees and i will ship anywhere in the United States with USPS EXPRESS with insurance,on me. You must be over 18 years of age. Great knife. Is this knife larger than Mick Strider's older XL knives? I have one with a 3.5 cutting edge, but the blade does not measure 5" from the edge of the handle to the tip of the blade?
 
There has been XL-SNG models made before,but they are smaller than this. A lot of the cutting area is loss on this style due to the shape.,there is that curve sort of indent shape at the back heel that gives this knife more character,but you lose cutting area.
