For Sale: Waterville Two Blade Jack

I got this knife in late May of 2012. It measures 4 closed, blade stock is 1/8 thick and the handle swells to a bit over 7/8 at its widest point. There is no wobble to the blades. The springs are very strong and snap closed like your proverbial bear trap. Covers are ebony. There are cracks in the wood on both sides at the rear pin. There are also some gaps between the liners and springs. They're more pronounced at the back end. I did put the rear blade to a stone lightly just to see how the steel responded but it barely has an edge to it. Both blades are clearly marked Waterville / Cutlery Co/ Conn.
As for age, Waterville was made from 1843 to 1913 per the reference information I have seen. I do not know whether a more specific dating than that can be done. I have not made any attempt at such.
