I have for sale a vintage Western, model 062, two blade Hunter. I believe I purchased this knife in college, I cant really remember now, but I did carry it in my vest during my early days as a Forester.
This is a solid knife. It has stag patterned Delrin handle scales. I believe the blades are carbon steel. It has a larger clip point master blade, and a second long clip point blade. Both blades measure 3 7/8 long. I believe the liners are made of brass. The bolsters, handle pins, and inlaid oval shield I believe are nickel silver. The knife measures 5 ¼ when closed.
I am the original owner. The blades are sharpened to 20 DPS on my Wicked Edge. Both blades have a good strong snap to them. This is one solid knife with a lot of life left in it. The E stamp on the main blade indicates it was manufactured in 1981 from what I can gather. It was manufactured in Colorado, USA. It comes with a molded leather sheath which is in very good condition. I dont think I ever had the sheath on my belt, as it normally rode in my vest.
Price for the knife and sheath is $30. I ship USPS Priority Flat Rate Box, included in the price, which also includes tracking. Paypal only, I will eat any fees. CONUS only. No trades. First 'I'll Take It' posted in this thread gets the knife.
