MOVED TO THE U.S. SIDE: Zero Tolerance 0560CBCF Limited Edition with combo-blade, upgraded anodized Ti hardware -- stonewashed 14C28N Sandvik on the spine, bead-blasted CPM S110V on the bottom and cutting edge. Sculpted black carbon fiber over a skeletonized titanium liner, and a 3D-contoured titanium frame-lock handle, with a subtle, finely ribbed texturing.
The steel pivot assembly and hardware, as well as the Lock-bar Stabilizer and clip-screws, have all been replaced with beautifully anodized, richly bronze-toned titanium replacements -- as well as extras to serve as filler-screws for the pre-drilled clip-mounts. All are identical in style to the ZT originals, which are also included if you prefer the factory set-up (replacement is made even easier with the Sebenza-style snap-together assembly).
The 6Al4V Titanium stand-offs are anodized a vivid blue, contrasting beautifully with the black and bronze. Again, the original black steel stand-offs are included.
The knife has the smooth flipping action you'd expect of an 0560, and the blade seating is dead center. The lock-up is rock-solid, at about 40%, and there isn't a hint of blade-play, horizontally or vertically. This is an excellent, virtually flawless knife; 'LNIB' doesn't apply, obviously, since the titanium hardware is 'after-market' -- original edge, never used -- and it comes with the original box and papers.
It's rare that I'm happy to sell a knife, but in this case I'm thoroughly conflicted. I loved this knife with the standard hardware, but since adding the bronze and blue ti, it's really impressive, and while ZT always do a great job with carbon fiber, but this one stands out. That said, there's a lot of nice knives out there. If you have a mint condition ZT 0454, I'll trade the 0560CBCF and throw in a ZT 0392. The same might go for a Shirogorov. Also interested in midtechs, Rocksteads, and customs, of course.
Price is MOVED TO 'PRODUCTION FOLDERS FOR SALE (INDIVIDUAL)' including 2-day shipping with full insurance and tracking. Payment is by EMT (email INTERAC transfer), the preferred method, but if that's not possible, Paypal is fine.
