One of the Easton Show specials. HHFSH style at 0.27". The DCBB was done after the fact by Garth, so this is a one-off AFAIK.
The bottom knife was an original CG FSH. It came to me well-used, with a really thick edge geometry. Ban Tang performed his magic, and did the clip point for me. The top was was very nice, and I'm trying to remember why I sold it????
This is what I was going for, an Old School CS beauty, wish it was mine,
Original 1 of 300 HHFSH. Scored off the Exchange in 2009, when these were highly sought after, and before Busse started making FSH CS variants again.
Thank you resin for the excellent pictures and lesson in history.
I have to say that the FFG FSH that you sold is the one that I would like to own one day
Yeah, that's probably it. Mine has standard scales; magnums would be better, IMO. Way back when, someone had a thread about sending an HHFSH in to the CS to get cleaned up and lightly modded. I was going to do the same, but never got around to it. Stripped it, and stopped there. Ah well, some regrets.
ResinGuy, great pics. I love the iconic FSH. The lines, the proportions, the fusion handle, the micarta... it all adds up to a great design and I can't wait until the folks at Busse ship mine. So glad they brought this one back for O2W and happy I jumped on it.
