#1 of 2 - Special run Benchmade Emerson CQC7, Model 970s Specwar. ca.1994. with Satin Blade.
- I have the box. It is marked 970-SPL. 3.375in, ATS-34. G10 scales, 8in OAL.
The satin blade seemed pretty rare to me so I contacted Benchmade. Benchmade's eMail to me a few days later:
"Your model 970-SPL: We did make those with a Satin blade, the SPL was part of a special order we did.
I am not able to find any information on this particular special order, or who we did it for.
It was most likely for one of our premium dealers.."
#2 of 2: Benchmade Model 600, Walter Brend Model 2. ca.1991.
- Special Edition. This one has been carried, but is in great shape. 3.5" blade, 8.125" OAL.
