Having begun collecting knives fairly recently, I have amassed a number of knives that no longer fit into my collection. So this is my first knife sale, but I am a longtime collector/dealer in fountain pens where I have a reputation for accuracy and honesty. My website is at thepenguinpen.com
All of these are priced to sell and are offered at street price, often at loss. I am open to trades for midtech and custom folders, trading retail for retail. All prices are PayPal net to me and include USPS Insured Priority Shipping in a box. Best way to reach me is rickpropas@comcast.net.
Benchmade Osborne Barrage 581. This was my third knife and by the time it arrived I discovered that I am not crazy about automatics. So it has been opened and closed a number of times, probably not enough to break it in and is LNIB with all papers, pouch bag, etc. $175, less than I paid.
Benchmade Osborne Barrage 580. This one I briefly carried and used very lightly, to open mail, packages, etc. Shows no sign of use and I shall again take a loss, offering it for $125.
Wusthof 2789, another of my earliest, this has never been used, comes with knife and a nice sheath. The original packaging was a blister, which I do not have. This is a really nicely designed lockback. $75.
Bradley Alias I Auto, partly serrated blade. I bought this one thinking it was the framelock. It isnt. LNIB. Not sure I opened it more than two or three times. But an uncommon knife. $150.
These are later acquisitions, a bit more sophisticated knives:
Zero Tolerance 0350 ZDP CKT This is a rather special Ken Onion Limited Edition design with ZDP 189 coated steel blade. A very cool knife. But for the assist, I probably would not be selling it. If you know what it is you know that I was lucky to find this one at a backwoods bricks and mortar store. I carried it briefly and used it lightly. $325.
Three Sisters Forge Beast. Why am I selling this? Because I have three Beasts and a Gorgon. If you know Jim Adams work, I need say no more. Superb design and execution. Bought from the Exchange. $295 for this.
Syderco Native 5 CF, this the carbon fiber scaled version of the Spydie classic. In truth, its a very cool knife, it just doesnt fit into what I am now trying to do with knives and I have spent too much over the past few months. Ill regret selling it, no doubt. Comes LNIB, I may have flipped this one. I did not carry it. $275.
And finally, a Buck Strider 889 sbmf. After getting a SnG, I thought if would be cool to have this since I like Strider (the knives, not the man) and I started with Buck, of course. This is a badass linerlock. Its been used, though not by me. $125.
