For Sale or Trade: Burchtree Blades Platypus Neck Knife
Specs are
Blade Length: 2 1/2
Overall Length: 6 1/8
Blade Steel: 1080 with matte gray gun-kote finish
Stock Thickness: 3/8"
A nice little knife I bought two years ago directly from Michael Burch, a/k/a Burchtree Blades. It was a one-off prototype for the model, which was later done with camo-style coating. I used it often around the house and the yard. It just came back from a refurbishment by Michael where it was recoated and resharpened.
The knife comes with two sheaths. One is set for neck carry with a little tighter fit and an adjustable length of paracord. The other can fit a large Teklok (not included) for either vertical or horizontal belt carry, both with a slight cant. Also comes with the birthdate certificate/spec-sheet from Michael.
There are some light rub marks from going in and out of the sheaths a few times (had to check the fit when it came back), but other than that the knife is back to as new condition. Very comfortable in hand, makes a great working knife.
Original price on this was $150. Im asking for $SOLD
As far as trades go, I would be interested in the following:
