As far as trades go I'd consider a FSH on the thinner side, Flat Ground Smallish Fixed Blades with blades in the 3" to 5" length. Busse, Swamp Rat, Scrapyard, ESEE. Plain edge only, no serrations. Users are fine within limits and may be preferable.. I'm also into watches, camping gear, nicer folders...
