Selling my Chaves 228, BladeHQ Edition (holes in scale). This knife has been used, but well cared for. It's in excellent overall condition. The most evident signs of usage are on the clip in the form of some scratches. They are superficial surface scratches as you cannot feel them if you run your finger over them. Otherwise, the titanium handles are do not show any signs of use as the stone wash finish hides minor scratches quite well. Blade is sharp & centered without play in any direction. No lock stick. Action is smooth. Just broken in. These are all very very stiff when new. This would be perfect for someone who is looking for a 228 they can actually pocket & not worry about putting the first scratch on a virgin safe queen.

LNIB overall condition, nearly indistinguishable from new. Blade is centered & sharp. No play in any direction. No lock stick. Comes with all original packaging & documentation. I've owned Hinderers & I prefer the ZT/Hinderer collaborations. In my experiences, the Hinderer detents are always weak & blade doesn't flip well. Not so with ZT's, every one I've ever owned has good strong detent allowing blade to fire out with authority. Comes with all original packaging & documentation. The MSRP is $325 & typically sell for $210-225 online.
