For Sale or Trade: DMT Coarse Diamond Whetstone and S.O.E. Gear ID Carrier
1) DMT Coarse Diamond Whetstone I used this maybe a dozen times to redo edges on kitchen knives. Worked fine, but I dont need it anymore after getting a dual grit stone. The diamonds are 325 mesh, 40 micron according to DMTs grit chart. Dimensions are 6L x 2W x 0.75H. Plastic case with non-skid feet. The stone comes right out for easy cleaning.
SOLD

2) S.O.E. Gear ID Carrier Ive had this for a year or so but never used it. Made of 1000 denier Cordura nylon. Has ID window and a larger slip pocket behind it. Top flap has a small zipper pocket on the underside.
SOLD
Dimensions are
Overall with flap closed 5.75 H x 5.5 W
ID window 3.375 H x 4.5 W
Paracord neck loop approximately 32 long
Velcro field 1.75 H x 4.5 W
The webbing on the back is not standard PALS style. The material is stretchy and not stitched into a grid of uniform size all over like PALS. The stretchiness makes for easy storage and access to stuff like a pen, marker, thin flashlight or knife. You could use it to mount the ID carrier to a PALS grid on another pouch/pack/whatever with some kind of MOLLE attachment hardware, but because of the size difference you wont be able to weave it in the conventional manner for a tight fit.

I will consider trades on either item for 4 Maxpedition tube sheaths in black or OD, new or like new condition.
All pictures taken 2/24/09.
