All blades are made from ELMAX steel and have undergone our extensive heat-treat protocol designed specifically for maximum edge holding! They are coming in at 60-62 Rc. These ultra-thin slicers are .090" thick with an edge thickness of approximately .010" prior to sharpening!!!! That's about 3 sheets of paper thick prior to sharpening!!! Yowza!!!"
