OK, so up for sale/trade is my BNIB, never carried/used or even fondled much, FDE DLC coated XM-18 . This is a regular Gen 4, spanto, flipper, XM-18 that has had the blade, liner and frame/lockside coated (by Hinderer) with Diamond Like Carbon in a Flat Dark Earth color. It has a green/black g10 scale and standard brushed/polished hardware and thumbstuds but other than that the entire knife is coated with the FDE DLC. It has the blade steel (S35vn) laser etched on the reverse side of the blade but DOES NOT have the Hinderer horse head logo on the obverse side. These are fairly rare and it is completely flawless both cosmetically and functionally, with rock solid, super early lockup, strong detent, perfect centering and smooth action. I would really like to trade this for another XM folder, 24 or 18, with a STERILE (no etched logo) blade, preferably a non-flipper, slicer but I might be willing to settle for one or the other(slicer OR non-flipper). I also have some copper or brass standoffs and a copper Hinderer bead I could throw in on the right trade. If someone wants to buy it outright the asking price is ? shipped and paypalled in the conUS. I might also consider trades for other FOLDERS in the same price range but strong preference will be given to Hinderers. First unconditional "I'll take it" rule applies, however I reserve the right to sell/trade to whomever I choose without explanation.
