This is a catch and release Hinderer XM-18 3.5" w/ Black scales. The knife is LNIB and was originally purchased at the beginning of this year. I am the second owner and I have had it 2 days. The detent is a little weaker than I prefer, so I'm putting this one up for sale or trade. Everyone has their preferences on detent strength and I'd put this one on the weaker end of the scale. I had my hopes up because of the hype about "Hinderer's new stronger detent". It still flips perfectly fine, but I may not be the best flipper so I prefer the almost 100% success rate that a stronger detent provides. The ONLY flaw the knife has is a small mark on the pivot (lock side) where I was trying to use the pivot to tune it to my liking, but changing the pivot just isn't a great substitute for a strong detent. I have provided as many detailed pictures as possible so you can see exactly what you are getting. The mark on the pivot is the only tiny flaw on the knife. The lockup is great and the blade is perfectly centered. It has never been disassembled or oiled. I am looking for $500.Paypal only, US buyers only please. I'll pay the fees and USPS Priority Shipping. I would also really be interested in trading for the knives listed below. I am only interested in BNIB or LNIB. Money can go either way and I'll even pay the shipping both ways on a trade.
