Good evening BF friends... and thanks for looking.
PRICE is $230 - Just received this amazing ML KNIVES BUSH AND HUNTING KNIFE late last month along with a long-awaited custom order. This one came available the day he shipped my other custom so I grabbed it. I have only taken it out of the package once to examine it... it's absolutely mint and exactly as shown in Matt's pics below. It will come with the sheath shown--also made by Matt--and the COA (still sealed in its original envelope). Matt's description below:
"Excellent knife. Traditional straight back design with slight upswept blade. Great for hunting, skinning, and trail work. Beefed up 5/32" spine tapering to tip and butt end of handle. Forged from 1095 high carbon steel. Pattern aged blade. Beautiful hard grained aged black walnut handle and 3 brass pins. Grain of wood has a nice two tone pattern. Spine sharp enough for ferro rod use. Blade width about 1" at widest. Handle length about 4 1/4" long. Blade about 3 5/8" long, convex ground with a 3 11/16" cutting edge. Overall about 7 15/16". Hand stitched antiqued leather belt sheath. Will fit a belt up to 2" wide. Sheath is signed and dated on backside."
For those who don't know, Matt Lesniewski is the preeminent traditional Early American Blade Smith in the game today. His knives are entirely hand-forged and his work is in high demand among collectors, woodsmen, bushcrafters, and historical reenactors alike. Wait time is currently well over a year, and he recently provided all of the edged tools/weapons for the movie The Revenant. On top of all that, he's just a damn nice guy.
- First "I'll take it" that contacts me and can pay immediately, gets it.
- ***NOTE*** If we have done business before or are ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY, please take 10% off the price.
- Payment is ALL-IN. I'll cover PayPal fees and USPS Priority Mail to US addresses only.
- Payment via PayPal, or USPS Money Order but will not ship knife until I have received the MO and it has cleared my bank (usually a day)
- Please contact me via PM or email
I will definitely consider trades from those with recent positive feedback. Trades that I would consider (cash added by you or me, TBD):
- NWA Knives (Nick Allen)
- T.M. Hunt Knives
- Blind Horse Pathfinder Scout
- BTW, I'm also looking for a mint Burchtree V2 Mid-tech folder
(For those into US military weapons/tools, I also have one of my complete GI-issued Phrobis III M9 Bayonets -- 2nd Gen, 3-line, Flat-top "M" -- for trade or sale)
~~~ PICTURE CREDIT GOES TO MATT LESNIEWSKI... THESE ARE WAY BETTER THAN I CAN TAKE ~~~
