TERMS OF SALE --- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
All knives for sale by myself will include a free re-profiling and/or sharpening, declining this service will discount the total price of the knife by $20 on request via PM or email.
- Unless stated otherwise in the individual description of each specific knife listed, all knives are in factory new condition... though they are not necessarily in *perfect* for various reasons (I generally have not seen perfection in any knife)
- Knives which have already been used and/or been re-profiled by myself or others will always be described as such so please read the description of each knife carefully, most knives from my collection are going to be factory new condition.
- I will work with you via PM or email in order to select the proper edge geometry for what you intend to use the knife for, which will allow for the highest combination cutting ability and edge retention while still assuring sufficient strength of the edge.
- I do all sharpening work personally on my Tormek T-8 grinder, which uses a water trough to submerge and cool the grinding wheel in order to guarantee that there is no heat transfer to the edge in grinding and thereby zero chance of affecting heat treatment.
- My V-grind edges will have a VERY slight hollow shape to the edge but it is so close to being flat that it is virtually undetectable without carefully measuring and looking for it specifically, this means the edge will not be weak because of the VERY slight hollow shape.
