I am the second owner on this one and purchased it at the beginning of the year to try a woody. I've tried and tried but it just isn't for me. Birthdate is April 3, 2014. Comes as pictured and does have snail trails. Edge is usable but there are some small nicks that would come out with sharpening. This is extremely smooth and lockup is sitting around 50% or so.
