Up for sale or trade is my Three Sisters Forge Gorgon...I don't believe that these are available/being made anymore.
"The TSF Gorgon is a simple folding design that's packed with top quality components. It's a compact blade without added frills or features unnecessary on a tactical folder. The 4" blade is a reinforced spear point design made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with a bead blast then stonewashed finish and nicely executed jimping. The blade is cryogenically stabilized, triple tempered, hollow ground with a false top edge and features a single titanium thumbstud. The handles are made from milled aircraft grade titanium with the same bead blast then stonewashed finish for grip and durability. The lock side is marked 'TSF Gorgon First Edition' symbolizing The knife is constructed with hardened stainless fittings, barrel spacers and a milled titanium pocketclip. The Gorgon undergoes constant field testing to provide the finest using knife possible. It's an ergonomic design you can carry every day, use and abuse and it's handmade in the USA."
It's in lightly used but excellent condition. There are; however, a couple of minor issues which I've taken into account with regards to the price:
1. The detent is a bit on the light side. It'll hold up to a light to moderate shake but the big/heavy blade will break loose with a more brisk shake.
2. One of the pocket clip screws is not original and/or is a bit stripped. It holds but not extremely tightly. I thought about trying to re-tap the hole but the other screw is very tight/the pocket clip is tight with no play/movement so I just left it alone.
Neither are a big issue but I always believe in full disclosure/no surprises. The knife recently went back to TSF for a new pivot since the previous owner marred up the screw head a bit. All of the other screws are tight with no wear on the heads. The blade is centered and lockup is early but solid with zero blade play. The blade rides on large phosphor bronze washers and the action is very smooth.
If you're looking for a large, extremely strong and solid/well built folder, this is a great knife. Includes a padded zipper pouch.
The price is $SOLD which includes PayPal fees and shipping to the lower 48.
With regards to trades, I'm open to other folders (I'm ok with trades down plus cash). I'm also looking for a decent watch.
Please PM or email me regarding any questions. Please know and obey your local knife laws. Please post "I'll take it" and PM me immediately afterwards to coordinate payment and shipping.
