FOR SALE OR TRADE: Zero Tolerance 0560CBCF (Serial #0242) Limited Edition with combo-blade, upgraded anodized Ti hardware - AND - Zero Tolerance 0392 (Serial #0445) !!SOLD!! Limited Edition 'Factory Custom'

The ZT 0560CBCF has a patented and very cool combo-blade, with stonewashed 14C28N Sandvik on the spine, and bead-blasted CPM S110V on the bottom and cutting edge. Sculpted black carbon fiber over a skeletonized titanium liner, and a 3D-contoured titanium frame-lock handle, with a subtle, finely ribbed texturing. The steel pivot assembly and hardware, as well as the Lock-bar Stabilizer and clip-screws, have all been replaced with beautifully anodized, richly bronze-toned titanium replacements -- as well as extras to serve as filler-screws for the pre-drilled clip-mounts. All are identical in style to the ZT originals, which are also included if you prefer the factory set-up (replacement is made even easier with the Sebenza-style snap-together assembly).

The 6Al4V Titanium stand-offs (by BF Craftsman Gnoleb) are anodized a vivid blue, contrasting beautifully with the black and bronze. Again, the original black steel stand-offs are included.

The knife has the smooth flipping action you'd expect of an 0560, and the blade seating is dead center. The lock-up is rock-solid, at about 40%, and there isn't a hint of blade-play, horizontally or vertically. This is an excellent, virtually flawless knife; 'LNIB' doesn't apply, obviously -- the titanium hardware is an 'after-market' modification, augmenting it's awesomeness by 23.6% -- but it has its original, super-sharp edge (never used), and it comes with the original box and papers.

After all that, I don't want to sell it now ;). It's rare that I'm happy to sell a knife, but in this case I'm thoroughly conflicted. I loved this knife with the standard hardware, but since adding the bronze and blue ti, it's really impressive... and while ZT always do a great job with carbon fiber, this one stands out. That said, there's a lot of nice knives out there. If you have a mint condition ZT 0454, I'll trade the 0560CBCF and throw in the ZT 0392. The same probably goes for a Shirogorov framelock, or maybe a liner-lock. Also interested in midtechs, Rocksteads, and customs, of course.

The 0392 is serial number 0445, comes with box and COA, is perfectly centered, with ideal lockup (>30%) and zero blade-play... it's pretty damn close to LNIB, but some object to that classification. Thanks to the working finish, it's nearly impossible to tell, even if there were (it hasn't accumulated any, however, since I'm overly careful with this super-tough, heavy-duty knife, and have only carried it a handful of times).

I don't need to explain ZT and Hinderer's unfortunately named 'Factory Custom' arrangement on this beautifully made Limited Edition, but I will anyway. The anodized Titanium hardware comes from the Hinderer shop, and ZT made the knife; it is, however, basically a full-titanium Hinderer Eklipse, and hardware can be swapped for parts from the Hinderer store. Again, I love this knife... but for some mysterious reason I love the knives I DON'T have even more

Price is 525$ USD (640$ CAD) for the ZT 0560CBCF; $OLD ($OLD) for the 0392 including shipping with full insurance and tracking, anywhere in N. America. Overseas shipping may cost extra, but International Sales are welcome. Payment is by Paypal Gift (fees can be subtracted from the price) or EMT (email INTERAC transfer). EMT is the preferred method, but if that's not possible, Paypal works as well.

If you're interested, or you have questions I didn't cover in this long and meandering post, just PM or email me.
