Up for trade are two USERS. The first is I believe an original SOG Tomcat. I bought it back in the early 1990's when it was new. Carried a lot for a few years. It has been sharpened numerous times, used as a hammer a few, carries all the scratches and digs that a heavy duty knife aquires over time being used as a tool. The belt sheath is pretty cool, as it can be worn in the vertical or horizontal position. Tight lock up and no blade play in any direction. This is a heavy knife. My current job has me needing as little weight as possible, so I'm willing to let it go.

Next up is a Benchmade Balisong, bought around the same time, early to mid 1990's. It has been flipped alot, and used to cut a little bit. It's still got a tight lock, has scratches on the blade, paint chipped off the handle, but in great mechanical shape. Sharpened very little. Belt sheath is horizontal carry only.

What am I looking for? Don't know for sure. I lost the small case 2 blade pocket knife that was my grandfathers about a month ago that I carried daily, havn't replaced it yet with a comparable knife, also looking for something light, small, and fixed, for utilty/edc. I work on cell towers and would like something small and light I could attach to my harness and use to cut electrical tape, rope, etc, and still carry elseware. (probably something like an Izula I suppose). I'm really open to any offers, what's the worst I can say. I'll trade them seperate or together depending on what you have. Make an offer, as users, you'll be happy with either one. I'm in upstate NY. Mark.

I'm really interested in that old Tomcat; handled one years ago and never got around to getting one. I have a bunch of good quality domestic-made and imported slipjoints; I can offer up singles or multiples for the Tomcat.

Email me at cnroles(at)sbcglobal(dot)net, and I'll send a list. (I'd suggest maybe enabling your email through your profile here, too.)

Got your shipping info etc. --- I'll email you when your knife is on the way.
Thank you Mark -- Jerry
