I just got a Buck 102 that i don't need. it is an older knife with red spacers, a visible pin in the pommel and a 2 line tang stamp which says BUCK with u.s.a. under it. conditon is probably around 75%,not bad for an older knife. it comes with a flap type pouch sheath which is not stamped with the model number. overall a pretty clean older knife. if you want it i got it so make an offer. i'm pretty much into small to medium fixed blades right now. U.S. only please.

It appears this knife was made prior to 1972, i think.
 
now they use 420HC, for some reason i think the older ones were 440 c. but i could be wrong, hopefully someone who knows more than me {just about everyone}will come along and share.
