Hey guys, I have 4 knives currently that I would like to trade. Please be fair with the offers... not the how about I trade you this CCK and 10 bones for all of them.
I have an idea as to what I want and I'm going to start with saying I'd like to offer up a 7 day AFTER CONFIRMED receipt review period. Don't want leave anyone with anything they don't think they got their FAIR trade out of. I would like to say that it'd be nice to be a LEGIT issue... Not just the...
"I don't like the way the sun don't reflect off of it at 4:37 in the afternoon when I'm walking around my truck." crap.
I mean I know that's a bit far fetched but I think we could say that if it was described incorrectly, not fully disclosed about it's condition about whether or not it's been sharpened, if the blade/handle has a chip in it that wasn't disclosed... something along those lines... Then those would be valid points to contend.. Alright??
Not out to screw anyone over, just know what I have in these knives and know that they aren't eating anything or costing me money but then again they aren't being used either so why have them around when I could trade them out for something I could use.
#1. I have a Sog Seal Pup that I bought and have hardly ever used. I bought it as a dive knife when I was doing the scuba thing... short lived as that was it never got underwater. I carry it in my truck for those side of the road emergencies should I have one. Have had it for a few years now and have not used it. It's never been sharpened and still has all parts/pieces/paints that it was born with.
"The SEAL Pup carries on the tradition of quality and service of the SOG SEAL Knife, the chosen knife of the Navy SEALs. To earn this honor, the SEAL Knife surpassed one of the most extensive testing and evaluation programs ever undertaken by the US Government. For those who want all of the benefits of the original SEAL Knife, but in a smaller version, we have created the SEAL Pup. This stowable blade is an excellent field companion for outdoor and underwater adventures. Like its big brother, the SEAL Pup has a partially serrated blade that is powder coated for low-reflection and corrosion resistance. Its lightweight, glass-reinforced Zytel handle features a raised diamond pattern for secure gripping in inclement weather. And like the SEAL Knife, it carries conveniently in a multi-mounting, all-weather military belt and jump-rated Kydex sheath.
Specs:
Handle: Zytel

Blade Length: 4.75"

#2. Next I have a Gerber Guardian Back-Up that's never been used for anything other than opening an envelope or some such nonsense. It rides in my door pocket... for those times when you need to pick your teeth goin down the road.... (SEE I SAID TEETH!!!! Not just TOOTH!!!)
(Can't quite figure out though why everytime I hit a bump my lips started bleeding!!!)

# 3-1/2" black, teflon coated, double edged, stainless steel blade.
# Both edges razor sharp from the factory

# Sheath also features adjustable tension slides to control the force needed to insert or remove the knife.
# Tang etched with GERBER name and "sword in stone" logo, Portland Or on one side.
# Very light weight. Knife with sheath weighs only 3.2 ounces

#3. Kershaw Whirlwind 1560 w/ Plain Edged Blade. Great shape, flicked open serveral times a few scuffs on the blade but nothing major for an EDC.
Specs:
* Overall length 7 3/4"
* Closed length 4 1/2"
* Blade length 3 1/4"
* Standard edge 440A stainless blade with satin finish and reversible thumb stud.
* Features Speed-Safe assisted-opening system.
* This mechanism helps propel the blade open once the operator has initiated the one-handed opening action.
* Black polyimide handles offer a solid grip.
* Removable stainless pocket clip.
* Designed by Ken Onion.
#4. Buck Odyssey...
Older knife with the combo edge and ATS 34 blade. It's a nice knife and has been my EDC since receiving it, but to be honest the clip is mounted to low on the knife for my liking and leaves about 1" of the knife sticking up out of my pocket... more exposed than what I prefer.
Smooth, rounded, folding knife with one-hand opening/closing thumb hole and ATS-34 stainless blade.
Specs:
Blade Length: 3 1/8 in. (7.9 cm.)
Blade Shape: Drop point, partially serrated
Blade Steel: ATS-34
Carry System: Stainless steel pocket clip
Handle Material: G-10?? Textured thermoplastic
Length Closed: 4 1/2 in. (11.4 cm.)
Weight: 4 oz. (113 g.)
They are all in great condition, the Sog. the Gerber and the Kershaw have no boxes or papers, I do have the box and paperwork for the Buck Odyssey.
PICS POSTED ARE NOT THE ACTUAL KNIVES!!!! They are the SAME KNIFE but not PICS OF THE KNIVES LISTED.
I'll try to get a camera and get photos available. I don't have a digicam, but I'm working on getting one to take some photos of them.
What I'm looking for... Any Sebenza's, Microtechs, Protechs... bwahhahahhaaa Trade ya straight across the board for any one of my knives!!!!! Anyway, am looking for folders mainly, autos prefered, double action at top of the wishlist. Looking to trade for a Benchmade Griptillian, a Kershaw Whirlwind with 50/50 blade, an Auto Benchmite, maybe a Credit Card knife depending on what you have.
I am very picky about my knives. I won't jerk anyone around about whether or not I'm interested. Any offer will be promptly reviewed and I'll shoot a reply back as soon as possible. I only am interested in 50/50 blades for the most part. Will consider PE blades on the Benchmite...
(that's a joke guys) Anyway, please post up or email me an offer.
I don't know if this is allowed but I'll put it in and if it's not then ADMIN please remove... I will also trade these knives for $$. Or a knife + $$ or a few of my knives for 1 of yours. It all depends. As I said I do have a value in mind on each of my knives. I'm mainly trying to give anyone else a chance to clean out the closet so to speak and maybe try out another knife in trade for ones they may not use like these are to me. Shipping and Handling charges and numbers will be handled on a case by case basis.
Anyone have any questions feel free to ask, and PLEASE if you send an email. POST here that you did. Would like to try and make it a first come first serve basis, but obviously it's all about what gets offered...
Thank you for looking and I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
