**SOLD**
Bought this BRAND NEW in the early 90's. Used but not abused - never sharpened - so goes to show you how much I used it. Handle is a little scratched as you can see in the pic. Blade is G-2 Steel
**About G-2 Steel** - A steel with slightly less Carbon, slightly more Chromium, and much less Mmolybdenum than ATS-34. No Nickel, Tungsten or Vanadium. A very good stainless steel. It was used often by Spyderco earlier production pieces.GIN1 was quite commonly used by Spyderco in the early years. They have since moved on to more modern and advanced steels, GIN1 (or G2, equivalently) has maintained a small but loyal following in the knife community. Gin-1 sharpens relatively easily and keeps a decent edge.Edge type, edge geometry, blade thickness, blade shape, sharpening style, intended use, and user environment can all factor into positive or negative performance from any type of blade steel.
Would consider trade for one of the following ($ can be added if necessary to offset trade value, but please do NOT restrict yourself to this list to make a trade offer):
Fallkniven F1
BRKT Gameskeeper (Orange)
Rat RC-3 (Orange)
Spyderco Mariner H1 Salt (serrated)
Spyderco Phoenix
Spyderco Poliwog
Spyderco Paramilitary Digital Camo
Spyderco Manix C95 PE
ZT 0121
ZT 0400
Cold Steel Rajah II
Email me any trade offers. I mainly like folders, but I will listen to a good fixed blade trade. I like Kershaw, Spyderco, Benchmade, Boker, Cold Steel, Zero Tolerance to name a few. I have a 360 Unblemished record on eBay, so you can trade with confidence. So lets do some trading - let me hear what your interested in and let me know what your offering and maybe we can work out a deal.
