Your best bet would be to call Spyderco directly and ask. That's what I would do if I were contemplating that. It would be interesting to find out if they would do that.
 
Definitely worth calling and asking, but I doubt the answer will be yes. To the best of my knowledge, aside from laser engraving, Spyderco does not do any after-market customization of their knives.
