Gentlemen:

One of my clients has been after me to make a Man Knife with a guard, so I thought I'd build a very special first one. The presentation grade Desert Ironwood Burl has tremendous figure and color contrast. This design has wonderful ergonomics and the person that buys this knife will smile the first time he holds it in his hand. The deeply hollow ground W-2 blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to reveal a vivid hamon. I ground this blade to .030" then 25 degree bevels to 220 grit for a toothy edge that will last. The solder joint is true and even with no voids. The fit and finish is superb on this knife. I haven't made the sheath yet so the buyer may specify right or left......the last photo shows the type of sheath you'll get. I hope you like it! $295 plus $15 shipping. Paypal payment preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warrantya and free sharpening.

V/R,
