Full collection pics!

This is a group shot of most of my Tuna Valley burnt stag handled knives. There is always new ones coming in, so it's hard to capture it all, but this is a good majority of what I currently have.

Since it’s 486 degrees outside, I’m taking the opportunity to oil the joints today. Fun to see how the crew has evolved over time. Four are knives I really like and have bought for myself. The rest are in the permanent stash because they were generous gifts. I’ve been richly blessed by this community no doubt!

I think this is a thread that has suffered greatly from the loss of photographic content.

I’d like to try to revive it and see what happens.

I have sold well over half of my Robeson collection/show display and almost all of the ephemera, so it wouldn’t be right for me to repost those photos.

I do, however, as previously stated, still pursue and collect Robeson’s Terrier Cutlery Company line of knives made between 1910 and 1916.

I suspect I have more than doubled the number of Terriers I posted previously in this thread.

Here is an up to date photo, taken last week:
I missed this, Charlie!! Great collection!!!

Very nice display of French knives, Charlie… but why did all the Opinels get voted off the island?! 😉😁

A nice shadowbox, a steel liner, and permanent magnets, all make a great, viewable collection!!View attachment 2608374 (I'll try and replace this with a better pic!!)

Do you keep that one in a special secure room with extra thick concrete walls, a retina scanner and a laser alarm system? 😁 Some really special knives there!

Beautiful display, Charlie! I love how your collection is incorporated into the home decor. Beautiful woodblock prints of your wife’s, too!

Occasionally I used to take a full collection pic of my GECs, but I’m afraid it’s gotten to the point that it’s impractical to get ‘em all out and in one pic! 😳 Sure was easier when I was only a few months in and this was the whole collection. 🤣

Nice!! You shoulda stopped there!!! Ha Ha Ha!!!

Some stunning collections here!

Lazy gloomy Saturday so I cleaned up the collection. I think other than some more SAK’s floating around this is pretty much all of it. While mine is not massive I think it could use some whittling down; always easier said than done. I think I regularly rotate through about 25-30% of what’s here.
