Full Convex Full Tang Knives?

Far as I know the Bravo 1 and Bravo 2 are both .215" at the spine. Whole helluva lot of mountain men (who, you know, ACTUALLY survived by their tools) used much, much less robust blades than that. Most were actually some variation of a butcher blade with spines less than 1/16" and no, they didn't all carry axes around with them to do the big work.

I mean, at the end of the day it's your knife and your money so you should absolutely get what you want, but if you're looking at the Bravo 2 and thinking "I like everything about it but how thin it is" I'm afraid I can't get behind your reasoning. Damned near 1/4" in a 7 inch blade is robust to say the least! If you just don't care for it, though, that's 100% legitimate.

Maybe the Bravo III would fit the bill. Should be coming along sometime early next year.

Though an 11" blade is a little more than the suggested size, it will definitely be a sturdy knife.

Here is a photo of the Fallkniven A2 (.23 inch) and BRKT Bravo 2 (.215 inch) for comparison of the spine thickness.

I use both these knives as outdoor / camp knives and both are very capable of wilderness survival duty.

If you want exposed tang (full tang) on the A2 look for a custom handle A2 blade blank.
