I think it was Porkerson tha called this green snakeskin linen...
Killer cool... just wish it could be re-created.

.

So that was old green linen? I had wondered.... Ban and I traded scales, so now it has the modern green linen to match my Banned AD. I'll post pics of the pair when they arrive.
Man, both sourced from the same person! ;)

Woah! That is very cool. Thanks for the info! But honestly, I really like the darker DIRTIER version much better :D:thumbup::thumbup: It gives it a really unique and interesting look that I really dig. I guess I won't be washing them anytime soon.

WOW Ban, I absolutely LOVE the clip!!! (It was the drop point on the SH's that pushed me toward Mofos instead --- I'm just a clip point fan.)

That one is beautiful.

Hey Mister MOJO! I know you are a clip lover :D Those MOJOs and MOFOs are definitely very sleek and sexy looking.

+1 There is something about the lines of a nice clip point. You may recall I had started a thread for people to post pics of clipped Steel Hearts, so I could gather ideas. I took a tracing of the blade before it went to Ban, made multiple photocopies of it, and experimented with different profiles, ie with or without dropping the point, and changing the length of the clip. Of course, it took Ban's considerable skills to make it happen.

hmmm, maybe it needs a bigger brother, a clip point FABM in green linen, to complete the trio. It's only money. :foot: :p

hahaha.... I almost forgot that you snagged that FSH literally seconds right before my very eyes on the exchange.

And he was a gentleman HOG to pass it to me without the INFI-flation that seems so rampant of late. Thanks, Jeepnut!

Heck I have been wanting to put a clip point on my FABM for the longest time. Every time I get ready to do it... the voice in my head tells me "why fix it if it isn't broke?" Besides she does have a lot of sentimental value to me.

On top of that he was also one the first with the guts to let me mod his knives

WFBM done by Ban, with smoothed Magnum Green Linen!!:thumbup:

The WFBM is also a good way to scare the "Server too busy" messages away in order to score on various GANZAs!! ;)

snapped a quick pic of my shop before I head out to deliver some cabinets.

Here is that little corner I was talking about :o

I will see if I can take some work in progress shots if I get some time after the delivery. Be back in a few hours.

so this is where the magic happens. And to think I'm about 40 minutes away, just incase I need some work done!

that convex job looks great. Leaves plenty of metal on that thinner blade.
