Here is the 3rd blade in a series of 3 knives. Bottom 2 pics are the other 2 knives. 1st three pics are the Full D guard. It is ribbon San Mia like the first and second, the guard, ferrule and buttcapp are also San Mia. All Damascus fittings with elephant ivory and sterling pins. 10 1/2 inch blade and 16 3/4 inches overall. Thick blade. on the first I fileworked the ferrule with 3 rings, the 2nd with 2 and this one with one. Hope you like.

I have to say that san mai damascus is some of the nicest looking stuff i have seen!
impeccable work! i love them!

Thanks guys. They are all for the same client. Glad to finish the last as it was also the hardest. But fun to build.

Hi Dan,

I've followed your work for quite awhile. You just keep getting better and better. These knives are excellent!! But I'm a traditionalist, like the simple S-guard the best. Really nice work, and great lines on all of them. Congrats.

Amazing pieces,Dan-the san mai is beautiful and goes perfectly with the ivory- Outstanding, and thanks for sharing.

Absolutely kingly! As in, fit for a king!

I have a question; do you heat treat the guards in some way on this type of knife?

Thank you sir!
