Full D gurd, last in 3 series (photos of all)

No, I dont heat treat the guards or any fittings. Need to be able to bend the guard and when heat treating you get scale and it has to come off and the fit wouldnt be right. Steel would look better if you did. This is one question I have pondered for a while as when you acid etch steel that has been treated it looks better but, it can warp so slightly that it wont fit just right. Good question though.
