Gentlemen:
For your consideration is my Full-Dress Bushcraft knife. Full-Dress is a Navy term for full formal uniform, and this one has it all. The handle design comes from my Silent Hunter - this knife has a great feel to it. The 3/16" 1095 stock and the tapered tang make this knife blade heavy, which I think is proper for a bushie. The scales are stabilized Koa from Burl Source with intense fiddleback chatoyance. The blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to show a killer hamon. A matching 1/4" firesteel is included......the lanyard hole was purposely drilled a little off-center
The blade was ground to a near zero with a secondary bevel to prevent chipping - included is a strop with black (heavy cut) and green (fine cut) compound sticks - a simple strop every now and then will keep this baby sharp. The spine is slightly rounded for batoning and I purposely left the spine edges sharp to strike your firesteel. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $265 plus $16 shipping. Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.
Best regards,
TK
