Really bad timing. Committed to this and need the money for something else.
The knife is as it came from Jim a few days ago. 100% mint/new.
Jim literally made this knife a week ago. It’s one of the most wicked and beautiful folders I’ve had of his. His build quality is top tier.
Perfect size blade, 3.5” of PSF27. Flawlessly hand rubbed. And the grinds are, well, just look at it. [emoji4] Closed length is 4”.
The colors in the Mokuti change, as you’d expect, depending on the light source and angle. It varies between a rich blue and a very rich deep purple. The Mokuti is about as nice as it gets.
Super smooth action, perfect, early lockup, zero rock, crisp detent. Low profile flipper tab. This knife is very sleek and not overly thick, so it’s an ideal carry knife if you could bring yourself to carry a knife this pretty. [emoji4]
I love the jimped Mokuti backspacer, and that dark ti, (black Timascus) hidden hardware milled clip is superb. The spine of the blade has matching jimping.
Wish I had the funds to keep it but I don’t. I think this is one of his sleekest and nicest looking folders to date.
