Full size hunter; 440C; Walnut, engraved.

One of my engraving projects is for sale. I consider it a full size hunting knife.

Blade:
440C Stainless Steel; ~59HRC; stock removal; flat ground; distal taper.
5-3/4" long, 1" wide, 1/8" thick at the guard.

Handle/Guard:
Black walnut, sculpted, vacuum treated (not dishwasher safe), polished with Carnauba wax.
Guard is 316L Stainless Steel. I hand engraved it. The background is filled with black enamel paint to bring up the contrast because 316L Stainless is hard to blacken chemically. Maker's mark on the front ( front is also engraved).

Sheath:
7-8Oz leather, hand stitched, dyed, polished and treated with the saddle oil. Pretty tight fit. Light tooling on the edge.
