Full size metal bandsaw?

The white saw is a 14" Wilton set up for metal. Black one is a 14" Grizzly set up for handle material. Horizontal is a big Grizzly used for large metal objects. Little 4x6 on a stand is a very old Grizzly that should be dead, but still keeps on ticking. Cut mostly titanium liners with it.

over tightened the first 4x6 and cracked the housing and the clark i got in the same size ate the bronze gear after a few years of use
after that i knew i needed a pro saw and since i cut alot of sheet and not bar 14 inch of throat on the rollinsaw and the ability to cut slabs made it the best all round option in my shop

i will have to get a photo of it

My work has a large floor standing Dayton band saw we used to use to cut 155 mm rounds in half with. It's a beast.

That big Grizzly you have there Don is the same one we have..We have cut 8" steel in ours before.

Thought y'all had the same one from your earlier description. I cut several tons of W2 steel back when I was selling it. Also a great saw for fab work!

It sure is. We cut a bunch of 3" x 3" x 1/4" heavy angle steel up with it for welding table legs..the only way to get multiple legs that all match perfectly:thumbup:

as a knife maker or a fab shop one woudl be hard presed to beat a "roll in saw" USA made in ohio ...

The Roll-In is a BEAST. We have one in the machine shop that was made in the 60's and all the new parts from Roll-in still fit so it can run forever. A bit overkill though and for only 5 blades a month I'd save the expense and floor space and just rough cut the blades with the hacksaw and grind them to shape.

All right, pics of mine:

And just for kicks, my Marvel #2 power hacksaw. It's quite a beast!

If I could have just one, it would be far and away the 20" Powermatic. I love that saw.
