full size ritter grip.....

Keep it up guys, I'm already trying to resist a Ritter Yellow Mini-RSK and you are making it MUCH harder!

Wow. Whats not to like S30V...very nice design....excellent weight....heck, I'm going to buy one sheesh!

why don't you guys like the handle? Is the shape uncomfortable or do you just not like the plastic they use?

If it's just a material issue then I would have to disagree. I put mine through hard use on a day to day basis and my handle has held up well. I don't see how a more expensive material that offers no functional advantage would be an improvement for an inexpensive EDC knife.

I think the griptilians fill a perfect niche for guys like me that want a good blade and smooth, reliable action but don't want to pay a lot and could care less about fanciness. That being said I actually like the plastic; it reminds me of the plastic Glock frames are make of. It's durable ,really lightweight and molded into a comfortable shape that's functional but not frilly.

I find the handle shape to be very comfortable, albeit somewhat bulky.
But what I don't like is the cheap appearance and cheap hollow sound of the handles.
And despite the name "Griptilian", I find the large Grips to be somewhat slick to the touch.

It's definitely a great knife. The 552 and the 551 were some of my first quality folders. I eventually traded both of them when I got tired of playing with the axis lock (about a million flicks later). You can't lose with the Grips.

Resistance is futile! :D

Thanks to everyone for all the compliments.

Any chance YOU could get them to put a thinner handle on them?
The present one is "good" but, as mentioned, plasticky feeling and fairly wide for pocket carry. The mini is too small for my hands.

:confused::confused:

Sorry, but no. Just not practical from a production standpoint.
