Just in time for hunting season, I have up for grabs one of my Scout hunters. I gave this one some classy polished maroon micarta scales and my hybrid copper/carbon fiber pins.
The tang is tapered and the spine is polished all the way around. The blade steel is 80crv2 and has a dark stonewashed finish.
The sheath is hand dyed and stitched.
Here are the specs.
OAL - 9 3/4"
Blade 4 1/2"
Steel - 80crv2 appx. 58rc
handle - Maroon linen micarta with natural micarta liners.
Pins - My Hybrid copper/carbon fiber w/ a copper lanyard tube.
Sheath - Hand stitched veg tan leather with a water resistance wax finish.
