I finished this friction folder today. I'm kind of happy with it but, it's probably my crappiest grind to date. I ground the AEB-L in the annealed state and will not be doing that again. It's got some flex to it and my grind did not stay consistent. A good learning experience. I used all stainless hardware and phosphor bronze bushings. It's dishwasher safe.

It's a little off center. I think if I mess around with the screws I might be able to bring it over.

It's pretty comfortable.

edit to add....I wasn't going for a show piece when I made this one. I wanted a rough sort of industrial look to it.

I like it.
Is the liner lock on the back burner? I was hoping to see more of that!

Hi Lo/Rez.
a reasonable outcome especially for your first. going to a liner lock would not take a lot more.
I do have to add that all those outside scale edges make this one only good for casual use in my opinion.
It is a good looking folder.

Look at that, hot out of the shop and posibilities for a sale on it or another similar. Great! Frank

Thanks for all the kind replys. I'm not sure if this one will go up for sale or stay at home. I am working on 3 liner locks and once I get things figured out a little more I hope to pick up the pace. That and get some days off to work on them.

Please take the knife apart and put it between two flat pieces of whatever. I bet the blade has a slight warp in it and no matter what you do to the screws it won't get centered. Probably a five second fix.
