Here's my latest, a big'un for me in a full tang bowie style. It’s 440C... 3/16” x 1 7/8” tall and 12"overall with 7 3/8” tip to scales. Professionally heat treated. Features 30 degree dovetail bolsters in nickel silver, affixed with 3 internal threaded rods with marine epoxy. It's finished all around to 2000 grit.

Granadillo scales finished to 1200 grit with four stainless pins, finished with multiple coats of Danish Oil and Carnauba Wax.

Edge before sharpening was in the .015” range and the blade glides through phone book paper, leather, rope etc.

Handmade, lined sheath, wet molded for a snug fit.

Definitely an affordable bowie at only $188 via paypal, check or MO, which includes fees and CONUS shipping. This is posted elsewhere so the first time stamp prevails. Questions and comments welcome, and of course your satisfaction is my top priority.

Lotta blade for that price, my friend. Really like the look and love the sheath. Big 440C fan as I've found it to really take a lickin' but keep on keepin' on. What can you tell me about the heat-treat? What is the overall weight? Thanks. Nice looking piece.

Hi Ruzster Ruzster Yeah I'm a 440C fan myself. Paul Bos (Paul Farner) did the heat treat to 59/60 and the whole batch came back absolutely pristine. Can't say enough good about those guys. I don't know the weight exactly, feels like maybe a pound but I'll weigh it at work tomorrow on a postage scale and let you know.

Great famous last words in your sig line too btw (the original one:thumbsup:)

No worries Ruzster Ruzster , if it goes here or in the other venue I have another close twin, often grind pairs. I really appreciate your comment and interest.

Great overall look on this one! I love 440c it never gets the credit it deserves.
