This is my e nep inspired chopper. It has a nearly 13 in blade and is 19 in OAL. The steel is 1/8 in 1095 with a "rustic" etch. Convex grind with a convex bevel. Handle is bamboo with brass pins and brass lanyard hole. There is a pin under the wrap. The "furrell" wrap is hemp impregnated with epoxy.

I like it. Like the curves. Bamboo seems like a good choice for handle scales--is there anything it can't do?
 
This knife is much more impressive in person than in pictures. I'll be lucky if a buddy of mine doesn't steal it. He has said several times he wanted a panga. This is it. Very nice knife. Thanks
