Full tang Hatchet, 8670 Steel, Micarta Handle.

Hello Everyone, I have a full tang “Norseman” hatchet for sale today. This is a 14” bearded hatchet made from 1/4” thick 8670 high carbon steel. The blade is 4.25” long and just under 4” from pole to edge. The handle is made from green canvas micarta brought all the way up so you can choke up on the handle for fine work or grip down by the swell for heavy chopping. This blade is extremely tough, it was flat ground prior to heat treating then convexed to a sharp edge. This makes the blade a great chopper and will hold up very well in the field.
