Full tang/Narrow Tang

This is my version puukko knife ...........I can "baton" rest of my life with this knife and handle and tang would not fall .

As far as full tang vs not goes, I think it is a silly argument. Swords had stick tangs like the OP said, and stick tang Kabars were good enough for the US military for a long time. So the full tang knife craze is just marketing because people want to pound heavy knives through wood instead of just using a hatchet. I like both styles, but prefer a partial tang because you dont get cold steel touching your hand, and they are lighter and balance well.

I like hidden tangs , they make knife light as feather and still very strong and usable . I enjoy using this one , it is from 2.2mm M35 steel hollow grind for max. weight reduction and walnut wood is also light .
