Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this rather LARGE Bowie I made in W-2. The scales are premium Sambar Stag that match perfectly - the handle is sized to fill a large hand. The blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to show a vivid hamon with some nice ghosting - satin flats and spine. The double guard is sculptured - the subhilt is also sculptured to match the double guard. The blade was full flat ground to .035" and 25 degree bevels applied for a robust edge. The full tang construction provides the strength one would need to use this bowie as a chopper. The area under the ricasso is rounded for a secure purchase if you should want to choke up on the blade. The solder joint is even with no pinholes. This is a very comfortable handful with the extra shaping I put into the guard/subhilt. I put a lot of time in this Bowie - lots of handwork around the guards and the Sambar Stag wasn't cheap either, so the price reflects the extra labor and material cost. I haven't made the sheath yet so you can specify right or left hand. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it" gets it. $675 delivered CONUS......Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

Best regards,

TK
