We were sitting around the shop the other night having a debate about what we each like in our titanium folders. So here it is to you! What do you prefer?

I like Carbon Fiber on the non-lock side. CF's impact and abrasion resistance shrugs off wear in my pocket from my keys and wallet better than anodized Ti.

Ti and g10 is the way to go! CF is a beautiful material but way too slick.

But in a perfect world, ti lock side with CF inlays, and micarta scale non lock side.... :p

I think it's possible to make all of 'em work and work well. I take it on a case by case basis and try to judge the look of the piece as a whole.

Love carbon fiber....and Ti....G10....hopeless, sorry Scott!!

Engravings so far, although I'm not against inlays when done properly either. The second one is currently on order.

Im designing a new knife, uranium show side, plutonium impregnated ti lock side. This knife will travel threw time and if dropped will destroy a city block. Sorry, Seriously titanium has been amazing for framelocks. I Do prefer g10!pn the show side for needed grip.

Full Ti or Ti with inlays for me.

Agreed. I like the overall design of the Hinderer XM-18, and the ZT 0560/0561, and have come very close to pulling the trigger, but ultimately can't get over the lack of symmetry. I want the same materials on both handles.

Yep symmetry for me as well, prefer full ti. Butt just not one thing one side and different on the other. I like both sides the same.
