Fun at Blade West !!

All this fun and I'm missing out on it.

I'll make up for it when I get out there for the Edged Weapons class at the end of October.

All those CQC9's as well, someone pick me up one from Ernie at his raffle price ! :D

I just returned home from day two of Blade West.

Sorry Don and Hilton, but Ernie wasn't there today, so no customs to be had. Shaun and Derek were manning the booth, and I had a great time talking to Derek since he wasn't there yesterday. There's some cool stuff on the Emerson horizon, guys. Very cool indeed.

Anyway, I watched over Tom Mayo's table for him while he stretched his legs for a bit, and spent the remainder of the day talking with Mick Strider and also Steve Ryan since he was at Mick's table.
Steve had a few more M1's with him today. These were very colorful with bright green and blue anodizing. Steve has some very wild stuff that he's making lately, but sadly he will most certainly NOT be taking any orders for the forseeable future. He's very adamant about this, and hopes that everyone understands.

Mick and the rest of the Strider guys are doing quite well. They are making serious progress towards catching up on their backlog. Good; I'm looking forward to getting my AR and GB by months end. Mick kindly gave me one of their new Strider Frog T-shirts today, and I love it. Thanks, Mick!

All in all it was a great show. I'm not going back tomorrow because I made all of the contacts and got all of the pieces that I was after, so tomorrow is a day of rest.

Oh, one more thing of interest:
There were several of the customs from yesterdays lottery floating around on the floor today. I saw a CQC9 go for $2000, and a CQC6 go for $1500. Wow.
