• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Here is one that I just finished up for an order. It has a cocobolo handle and a blade of 1095 with a clay heat treatment.

This shot shows the leather sheath that Butch Hagedorn made for it as well as a couple of streaks of wax that I should have wiped off before photographing.

Nice work Allen. Really nice hamon. What is the guard? looks like wrought iron. Again good stuff.

that is my kind of knife:thumbup:

Very nice Allen. I'm glad to see you making some large knives. You seem to have an eye for it. Lin

Thanks everyone. Brion the guard is heat colored mild steel. Tad I can't recall all of the measurements off hand but the overall length is around 14 1/4'' the width of the blade is probably just short of 2'' at it's widest and the steels thickness is 5/32'' at the ricasso. Lin I am going to be in your neck of the woods some time in January. I will have to see if you will be at the museum while I am in town.
