fynn, what is the 104's blade length now? DM
What is the blade thickness on this model? DM
I like it too looks a lot like my Condor Kephart!
Yeah, it reminds me of a kephart, too.
Yes, I know from the catalog Buck gives the blade length at 4 1/2". But they take the measurement in a straight line. You're now speaking of cutting edge length.? It looked like you removed some. So, the spine thickness is 3/32. Thanks, DM
Hmmm, it doesn't look like the plunge line goes to the top of the blade. Thanks, DM
But if one measures it from the plunge line on the top of the blade to the tip it measures closer to 4 1/2".
This was your statement I was attempting to isolate. Were you extrapolating a line where this juncture may occur? Thank you, DM
In post 28 I ask and you answered that the plunge line does not go to the top of the blade. Thus, you're saying, 'you measured from the "plunge line at the top" of the blade'.
So, was this juncture an approximate as the plunge doesn't go to the top of the blade (spine). I just would not say I measured this line from here to there unless the plunge actually went to the spine. That was what I saw which was confusing. DM
