More like, "Funky Gold Patina".

Love it.

Haha!!
That was an experiment while was dying some scales in black RIT. Two cups of water, 1 cup vinegar and one package of black RIT. Came out a copper/bronze. I have since rubbed it off with a cape cod polishing cloth but might do it again the next time I dye something black. Curious what other colors would make a blade come out like.

I sandwiched the blade between two sponges with French's mustard for one hour. The patina is still developing with time. Almost a week now.

Very cool! Did you disassemble the knife first, or just soak it as is?

I've never forced a patina, but I'm thinking about trying it. I'm curious what chemicals produce what effects and colors.
