WOW, I really don't have anything to say to that. People say the guy in the video gives us a bad image.:( Chris
 
I've never been much of a historical buff (although I guess that seems at odds with my primitive skills obsession) so I find this video to be educational. I always wondered how Homo sapiens finally got the run of the crib.

What's even more puzzling, though, is how many of you knife enthusiasts can find joy in somebody breaking their knife, no matter how inexpensive. Consider that early man would have traded his family for a knife of that quality. So I guess I'm with runningboar's first post, on this one.

One last thing, if I had made the video, I would have edited out breaking my knife. Give the kid credit for his honesty.

O my bad I didn't mean it to sound that way. He in no way gives you or anyone else from your area of the world a bad image. I was referring to the guy in particular not anyone else. Sorry if I came off the wrong way.

I think its funny because he was stupid enough to baton it with a hatchet. If he would have done it properly it wouldn't have broke. Maybe he needs to spend some time here so he can learn a few things and everyone could get to know the guy.
 
The guy definantly needs to learn some knife and axe skills. I think the fire building skill is great. I wonder if the way he is acting and talking is a way to try and reach out and help inner city kids. He sometimes drops the accent and starts talking like a real person. Just wonder what the whole story is here.

If he is doing it to help the kids then I tip my hat to him.
