Doing something with the intention to benefit the community is commendable. Spreading false information about respected dealers and manufacturers extrapolated from said information is not and, for me at least, immediately kills any desire to support the project in any way shape or form lest they throw another dealer or manufacturer under the bus.
As I said, this has been a learning process on the part of our volunteers here. I'm not sure if this is the incident in question but I recall LuvThemKnives making a video apology for having made assumptions based on a particular result. In that video, I recall him discussing future protocols to discuss any surprising results with reputable manufacturers before public presentation.
Sometimes, the good guys make mistakes. A good reviewer could make a faulty assumption based on a questionable sample. A good company could release a faulty product. The goal should be making everything better for everyone, across the board.
